As we are in our 70's we thought
it was time to start writing our life stories for the benefit of our children, grandchildren and anyone else who may be interested.
We were born just before the Second World War, with the adventures of those days,
the rationing during and after the war until emigrating to Venezuela on a two year
contract and staying for 35 years!
At the same time as we started to develop this idea, we got interested in researching our family histories. In our parent's day this involved travel and long hours in record offices around the country, but with the internet the research can be done from home and copies of documents ordered online.
A family website is the ideal way to publish this research and some of it is already on the site.
